“What we are seeing is a theme, that has existed for about twenty-five years, which is the use of technology that scales in a decentralized way to solve problems that previously could not be solved. The internet was the first mayor example of that. What it allowed us to do is take centralized control over information, communication, truth, fact and opinion and completely decentralize those functions, allowing individuals to exchange information and truth without having to rely on a central party, and most importantly removing control from centralized institutions that for centuries or millennia had control over the flow of information, the origin of truth and the definition of truth on a cultural basis.
